I am such a big kid
Always dreaming, always playing
Always clueless about the rules of the game
Always dancing, always singing

I’ll get hurt yet I will continue
I’ll not stop until I’m dead tired
I may cry then I’ll forget
Why I’m crying and who made me cry
I’ll keep asking, keep on learning
Though I don’t really understand
Just having fun and laughter
Though there are maybe tears after….
If I could stay like a big kid
Always hopeful of tomorrow
Can’t wait to get older
Get married and be wiser…

I finished my homework and get a job, done well
I grew taller but not stronger
I run faster but I tire easier
